Abstract

The invention provides a method of conducting coding and decoding error correction based on color space transformation. The method comprises conducting color space conversion on components of Y, U and V of each pixel of a decoding video frame of color-digitalized video which is represented through color space of luma and chroma (YUV) type so as to obtain three components R, G and B corresponding to three components Y, U and V; respectively correcting the three components R, G and B between preset minimum value and maximum value so as to obtain three components R', G' and B' which correspond to the three components R, G and B; conducting color space inverted transformation on the three components R', G' and B' so as to obtain three components Y', U' and V' which correspond to the three components R', G' and B' and are used as components of each corrected pixel of the decoding video frame. The three components Y, U and V of each corrected pixel of the decoding video frame go through coding and decoding error correction so as to enable the decoding video frame to be closer to an original video frame, and therefore coding efficiency is improved.
