Abstract

Provided is a tank rubber cushion which has a novel structure to achieve a sufficiently high support spring rigidity in the vertical direction and a low spring property in the horizontal direction without complicating the structure or increasing parts counts. Two divided pieces of cylindrical rubber (14) are fitted over an inner axial member (12) which is inserted into an insertion hole (20) of a support portion (18). Each divided piece of cylindrical rubber (14) is provided with an axial vibration damping rubber portion (40) which is interposed between the axially opposed surfaces of a flange portion (38, 28) and the support portion (18), and a tubular axially perpendicular vibration damping rubber portion (42) which is interposed between the axially perpendicular opposed surfaces of the inner axial member (12) and the support portion (18). The axially perpendicular vibration damping rubber portion (42) of each divided piece of cylindrical rubber (14) is provided with circumferentially recessed and projected portions (48, 50) which have partially different diameters along the circumference, so that the outer circumferential surface of the inner axial member (12) and the inner circumferential surface of the support portion (18) are assembled together with gaps (52, 54) present therebetween at the recessed and projected portions (48, 50).
