Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for driving assistance of an electric vehicle, and relates to the field of electric vehicles. The system for the driving assistance of the electric vehicle comprises a battery management unit, a vehicle control unit and a GPS (global position system) unit. The battery management unit is used for detecting current residual capacity value of the battery when destination of the vehicle is set; the vehicle control unit is used for obtaining a residual mileage value according to the current residual capacity value of the battery; and the GPS unit is used for obtaining current position information of the vehicle, receiving destination information transmitted by the battery management unit, transmitting the current position information and the destination information to an information network center, and receiving the information of current position and road condition of destination feedback from the information network center. Corresponding driving circuits are worked out after comparison of the road information, the residual mileage value and location information of a charging station stored in the GPS unit and pre-stored condition.
