The invention discloses an energy-saving rice cooker which comprises a main body, a handle, a water outlet and a temperature meter. The main body comprises an outer layer body and an inner layer body. A cavity is formed between the inner layer body and the outer layer body. An inner cavity is formed inside the inner layer body. The handle is arranged on the exterior of the outer layer body. The water outlet is arranged on the outer layer body and communicated with the cavity. According to the energy-saving rice cooker, the cavity is formed inside the main body, the interior of the cavity contains water, and therefore the water in the cavity is heated in the process of cooking rice. The bottom of the outer layer body is arranged to be step-shaped to be suitable for being matched with steamers of different diameters. The energy-saving rice cooker is simple in structure and practical, and adapts to a diet idea that 'light food maintains health' in modern society.
