Abstract

The invention provides a system for relieving visual fatigue during electronic device usage. The system comprises a control module, an adjusting module and an alerting module, wherein the control module is used for controlling a visual sensor on an electronic device to detect whether a user is watching the screen of the electronic device with eyes; the adjusting module is used for adjusting the type size on a page displayed on the screen to the type size which is preset by the user when the user is watching the screen of the electronic device with eyes; and the alerting module is used for alerting the user to have a rest and shut off the screen when the user watches the screen for a longer period of time than a first preset time. The invention further provides a method for relieving the visual fatigue during electronic device usage, which can relieve the visual fatigue when a user uses the electronic device.
