Abstract

A method for responding triggering information comprises: after receiving the triggering information from a Machine Type Communication (MTC) server, a network node device forwards the triggering information to the corresponding MTC user equipment; if determining that the forwarding of the triggering information fails, the network node equipment reports a message of the triggering information failure to the MTC server. The invention also provides a system for responding triggering information and the MTC user equipment accordingly.
