Embodiment Construction

[0026] According to Fig. 1, the returned material 2 should be loaded in the electric arc furnace 1. For this purpose, the electric arc furnace 1 is assigned a barrier blast furnace shaft 3 , which is loaded back with charge 2 from a slide 5 , for example via an inclined plane 4 . According to FIGS. 1 and 2 , the barrier blast furnace shaft 3 has a blast furnace shaft structure 6 . The blast furnace shaft structure 6 generally consists of a plurality of water-cooled tubes. The blast furnace shaft structure 6 extends from an upper end 8 to a lower end 9 as seen in the direction of a vertical vertical axis 7 . Viewed around the vertical axis 7 , the blast furnace shaft structure 6 encloses a blast furnace shaft volume 10 according to FIG. 2 . It is possible that the cross-section of the blast furnace shaft structure 6 is constant when viewed transversely to the vertical axis 7 . A possible alternative is that the cross section expands downwards according to the schematic illus...

Abstract

A blocking blast-furnace stack (3) for blocking foundry returns (2) of an electric arc furnace (1) has a blast0furnace stack structure (6) which extends from an upper end part (8) toward a lower end part (9) in a vertical axis (7) direction and surrounds the volume (10) of the blast-furnace stack when seen at the angle of the vertical axis. The blast-furnace stack has a blocking finger-shaped member (11) which can enter into the blast-furnace stack volume in an entering direction (x) in an area of the lower end part of the blast-furnace stack structure and leave from the blast-furnace stack volume in a direction opposite to the entering direction by means of a driving device (12). The blast-furnace stack structure has a gap (14) in the area of the lower end part, and the blocking finger-shaped member can penetrate through the gap and enter into and leave from the blast-furnace stack volume. A scraping element (15) is arranged on the blast-furnace stack structure in the gap area. The scraping element abuts against the blast-furnace stack structure, and surrounds the blocking finger-shaped member when seen in a plane of a cross section extending in a direction orthogonal to the entering direction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a blocking blast furnace body used for blocking back charge of an electric arc furnace, [0002] - wherein the barrier blast furnace shaft has a blast furnace shaft structure extending from an upper end to a lower end in the direction of a vertical vertical axis and enclosing a blast furnace shaft volume viewed around the vertical vertical axis , [0003] - wherein the blocking blast furnace shaft has blocking fingers which can be inserted into the blast furnace shaft volume in the direction of entry and opposite to the entry by means of a drive in the region of the lower end of the blast furnace shaft structure direction away from the blast furnace shaft volume, [0004] - wherein the blast furnace shaft structure has a recess in the region of its lower end, through which the blocking finger can pass into and out of the blast furnace shaft volume. Background technique [0005] Barred blast furnace shafts of this type are kn...
