Abstract

This invention discloses a clutch plate manufacture method, which can manufacture ring-shaped clutch plate with good strength and good yield. The manufacture method comprises a diameter-enlarged part forming process, a dividing process, a stamping process and a blanking process. In the cylinder-shaped basal material, the diameter-enlarged part is positioned on the end side (13b1) of the circumferential wall (13b) and enlarges the diameter toward the end (13b1). The dividing process divides the basal material with the diameter-enlarged part formed on into the diameter-enlarged part (14) and a new basal material (13A) other than the diameter-enlarged part . The tamping process perform stamping on the diameter-enlarged part obtained through the dividing process and manufacturing the ring-shaped plate member (15). The ring-shaped plate member (15) is blanked to obtain the ring-shaped clutch plate (16). In the dividing process, the length of the circumferential wall part (13b) of the new basal material is longer than that of the diameter-enlarged part (14), and the diameter-enlarged part forming process, the dividing process, the stamping process and the blanking process are preformed on the new basal materials (13B...13X-1) obtained through the dividing process.
