Abstract

The invention provides a control apparatus which controls the working state of an electronic device according to images obtained by the control apparatus. The control apparatus comprises an obtaining module, a timing module and a comparison module, wherein the obtaining module obtains the images within a preset scope and generating a first control signal to the electronic device so as to control the electronic device to switch to a first state when the images do not contain target objects; the timing module accumulates a continuous time when the electronic device stays at the first state; and the comparison module makes a comparison between the continuous time and a preset time and generating a second control signal for outputting to the electronic device so as to control the electronic device to switch to a second state when the continuous time is greater than or equal to the preset time.
