Abstract

The invention discloses a significance analysis based self-adaptive remote sensing image fusion method and belongs to the technical field of remote sensing image treatment. The implementation process comprises the steps of: 1) performing HIS (Intensity-Hue-Saturation transformation) on a multi-spectrum image to obtain I, H, S components; 2) performing significance analysis on a panchromatic remote sensing image by adopting multi-scale spectrum residuals to obtain a significant region and an insignificant region; 3) adopting a windowing HIS transformation based fusion method for the significant region and adopting a wavelet transformation based fusion method for the insignificant region; 4) combining the obtained I components of both the significant region and the insignificant region, and performing HIS inverse transformation for the combined component I, the H and S components of the multi-spectrum image to obtain a fusion image. Through the significance analysis based self-adaptive fusion, the significance analysis based self-adaptive remote sensing image fusion method well keeps the space resolution and spectrum information for the significant region, efficiently reduces the spectrum torsion resistance for the insignificant region, solves the problems of different demands of different regions in the remote sensing image fusion on the space resolution and the spectrum information, and can be used in the fields such as environment monitoring, land utilization and agricultural investigation.
