Abstract

The invention provides a system and method for emergency communication transmission time slot allocation based on QoS in a smart power grid. The system and method are applied to the smart power grid. The method comprises the steps that N intelligent terminals apply to a data center for data time slots through an uplink frame control portion and the data time slots are used for transmitting an uplink data portion, wherein N is a positive integer; the length of a downlink frame control response portion is modified by the data center according to the uplink frame control portion and after modification, a downlink data portion is fed back to each intelligent terminal; the downlink frame control response portion is read by each intelligent terminal and the uplink data portion is transmitted according to the downlink frame control response portion. Each intelligent terminal can request sending space from the data center through an uplink frame and a request is responded and managed by the data center through a downlink frame. Under emergency circumstances, each intelligent terminal can give an alarm to the data center through a frame header control portion so that occurrence of an emergency condition can be indicated. According to self-features of the smart power grid, transmission of part repeated data can be cancelled by the data center and data congestion caused by access of a larger number of intelligent terminals is avoided.
