Abstract

The present invention relates to a cargo compartment that has a structure in which a cover can be moved to easily seal and unseal a top opening portion of a main body and a structure in which the movement of the cover is unaffected by another cargo compartment when the other cargo compartment is loaded on top of the main body, and the cover is moved to seal or unseal the top opening portion of the main body. The vehicle cargo compartment according to the present invention comprises: a main body including two side surface members, a front surface member, and a rear surface member, having an open top, and being capable of receiving cargo in the space therein; a reinforcing frame fixed to the top of the main body; and cover means mounted on both side surface members of the main body, for opening and closing a top opening portion of the main body. The reinforcing frame is fixed to post members arranged at the boundary between the front surface member and both side surface members of the main body and at the boundary between the rear surface member and both side surface members, and a certain space is formed between the reinforcing frame and both side surface members of the main body so that the reinforcing frame does not affect the movement of a reciprocating member along a rail.
