The method comprises the following steps: inquiry in a thesaurus is carried out, the thesaurus stores a commodity category correspondence and a commodity property correspondence between a first e-commerce platform and a second e-commerce platform, the first e-commerce platform is a platform on which commodity information synchronization is to be carried out, and the second e-commerce platform is a platform with source commodity information; the correspondence of the commodity category correspondence and the commodity property of a commodity to be carried out commodity information synchronization, between the first e-commerce platform and the second e-commerce platform are determined through the inquiry in the thesaurus; property values of commodity properties corresponding to the first e-commerce platform are extracted from a database table of the second e-commerce platform according to the determined correspondences, and are saved to a database table of the first e-commerce platform as property values of corresponding commodity properties.
