Abstract

The invention is applicable to the technical field of communication and provides a method for accelerating a downloading speed of a mobile terminal and a device thereof. The method includes the following steps: when the mobile terminal is connected with a wearable device, detecting whether the wearable device has a function of data communication with a data source; a dividing step: if the wearable device has the function of data communication with the data source, when a preset condition is detected, dividing an original file which needs to be downloaded from the data source into a first file and a second file; a channel establishment step: establishing a first transmission channel between the mobile terminal and the data source and a second transmission channel between the wearable device which is paired with the mobile terminal, and the data source; a file transmission step: through the first transmission channel, downloading the first file and through the second transmission channel, downloading the second file; and a combination step: combining the downloaded first file and second file into the original file.
