Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile terminal for multiplexing antennas and an antenna multiplexing method. The mobile terminal comprises WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) antennas, a WLAN communication module and an antenna multiplexing module, wherein the WLAN communication module is connected to the WLAN antennas and supports a multichannel MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) function; the antenna multiplexing module queries other mobile terminals capable of sharing the WLAN antennas in the WLAN where the mobile terminal is located, selects at least one mobile terminal therein and multiplexes the WLAN antennas of at least one mobile terminal to obtain downlink data. According to the mobile terminal, the MIMO function is realized through multiplexing the antennas of the mobile terminals connected in the WLAN.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to communication technology, and more specifically, to a mobile terminal and an antenna multiplexing method. Background technique [0002] Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology uses multiple antennas for transmission and reception at the same time, so that the capacity and spectrum utilization of wireless communication can be doubled without increasing the bandwidth. MIMO technology has been widely used in wireless communication technology. For example, standards such as 802.11n, 802.16-2004 and 802.16e of WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) and 3GPP standards involving 3G cellular networks have formulated corresponding standards. The application in WLAN is also more and more extensive. [0003] In mobile terminals, various antennas related to communication technologies are used. For example, the mobile terminal may not only include a GPS antenna for implementing a voice call function, but may also include a Bl...
