[0008] The invention discloses a receiver circuit and a method for processing received signals. A receiver circuit, sometimes referred to simply as a receiver, has a differential input and a differential output. The receiver may be used as a receiver circuit for a hard disk drive, where the differential input is connected or coupled to a magnetic head of the hard disk drive. The receiver described in this invention includes two combined feedback loops that simultaneously track the programmed input bias voltage level and correct the output, called the offset voltage. Thus, time-dependent variations due to hard drive mechanisms are tracked and corrected within the loop bandwidth of the receiver.
