Abstract
The invention relates to the field of liquid crystal materials and particularly relates to a liquid crystal composite and application thereof. The liquid crystal composite provided by the invention comprises the following components in parts by weight: (1) 1-40 parts of a compound represented by the general formula (I), (2) 10-80 parts of a compound represented by the general formula (II) and (3) 1-50 parts of a compound represented by the general formula (III), wherein the compound represented by the general formula (I) is a compound containing 1,3-dioxane and a difluoromethoxy bridge-bond compound. The liquid crystal composite provided by the invention has low rotary viscosity and large elastic constant, shows relatively short response time and can be used in quick-response liquid crystal displays with a plurality of display modes and display effects of the liquid crystal displays can be significantly improved when the liquid crystal composite is applied in TN-mode, IPS-mode or FFS-mode displays.
