Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a server and a system for performing video positioning based on bullet screen information content. The method comprises: using a keyword transmitted by a user terminal to search bullet screen information including the keyword in all bullet screen information of a current video; performing an aggregation process on the bullet screen information on time dimension to obtain at least one bullet screen information set; obtaining video segments associated with the bullet screen information set; ranking the video segments in accordance with relevance between the bullet screen information set and the keyword; transmitting identification corresponding to the video segments and ranking information to the user terminal; extracting video segment identification included in a video play request transmitted by the user terminal; and transmitting the video segment related to the video segment identification to the user terminal. The invention obtains discrete hits by searching bullet screen information by keywords, and in combination with time dimension aggregation, recommends a video segment of a user's interest for a user's selection and playing.
