Abstract

The invention relates to a pretreatment method for traditional Chinese medicine donkey-hide gelatin raw herbal material donkey skin. The method includes: 1b) washing; 1c) fleshing; 1) toggling drying; and 2) hanging drying. The method provided by the invention adopts a hanging drying and toggling drying combined technology to replace the traditional drying step, and through multiple experimental study, the water content of the donkey skin subjected to hanging drying and toggling drying treatment is set within a most appropriate range. The whole drying is high in efficiency and is energy saving, meanwhile the drying effect is good and hygienic, thus being in favor of long-term preservation of donkey skin. In addition, the method also includes cooling washing and mechanical fleshing processes, reduces the sources of pollution, is in favor of long-term preservation of the donkey skin, and is also conducive to improvement of the donkey-hide gelatin quality. The method provided by the invention has the characteristics of short total drying time, good drying uniformity, and low energy consumption. The skin is clean, and bacteria are difficult to breed.
