The method comprises the following steps: setting power grid sand table displaying scene parameters, an operation mode, a calculation type and an anticipatory fault set; carrying out anticipatory fault calculation by aiming at the anticipatory fault set, mapping a calculation result into a power grid simulation model; furthermore, converting the power grid simulation model into a dynamic model and a control model used for sand table display; and finally, outputting the dynamic model to the power grid sand table. The technical scheme solves a relevant technical problem that the power grid simulating calculation result can not be independently and dynamically displayed through a three-dimensional sand table, the power grid simulating calculation result is dynamically displayed by a sand table technology, and third dimension and intuition are high.
