Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: firstly, performing point tracking in a motion scene by an optical flow method to obtain point loci of the whole scene region; classifying the point loci to obtain a foreground point locus and a background point locus respectively, and removing error loci; secondly, segmenting a video image into a foreground region and a background region, working out a mass center motion locus of a region without the point loci, and comparing the locus of the region with the foreground and background loci to judge whether the region belongs to the foreground region or the background region so as to finish the foreground segmentation process.
