Abstract

Embodiments of the invention disclose a method for determining clipping threshold and a communication device thereof, so as to determining the suitable CFR threshold values based on different parameter configurations, thereby ensuring comprehensive index of PAPR, ACLR and EVM to reach the best performance. The method comprises the following steps: receiving, by the communication device, configuration information dispatched from the a network side, determining a value combination of at least one parameter of the communication device in the existing network condition, wherein the at least one parameter is a preset parameter which affects the peak-to-average ratio of network signals sent by the communication device; then inquiring the LUT based on the value combination, so as to obtain a target threshold value matched with the value combination; and using the target threshold value for clipping the network signals sent by the communication device.
