The invention discloses a teaching system and a teaching method, wherein the system comprises a cloud server, a micro cloud server, a mobile terminal and a display device; the cloud server is used for storing teaching materials; the micro cloud server is used for establishing a wireless local area network, receiving to-be-displayed contents from the mobile terminal and transmitting the to-be-displayed contents to the display device; the mobile terminal is used for building a connection with the micro cloud server by the wireless local area network, receiving downloading orders of a user, downloading corresponding teaching materials from the cloud server according to the downloading orders, obtaining the to-be-displayed contents upon the operation of the user for the teaching materials and sending the to-be-displayed contents to the micro cloud server through the connection; the display device is connected with the micro cloud server and used for receiving and showing the to-be-displayed contents transmitted by the micro cloud server. By adopting the system, teachers can walk around classrooms to interact with the students conveniently, thereby achieving the leap of the traditional classrooms for the space limitation and improving the teaching experiences of the teachers.
