Powder feed device (1) comprises: a nozzle head (3) tapering along a longitudinal axis (2) of the powder feed device to a first end (4) with a cavity (6) in an interior of the nozzle head which is arranged radially to the longitudinal axis and tapers towards the first end of the nozzle head; an annular-opening which is arranged in the first end and opens for discharging a powder; and powder feed pipelines, extending through a second end of the nozzle head which opposite to the first end of the nozzle head, to the cavity for conveying the powder from a powder reservoir into the cavity. An independent claim is also included for a laser powder build-up welding device comprising a powder reservoir for a powder a powder feed device with powder feed pipelines which are connected to the powder reservoir, and a laser which is adapted to melt amount of the powder applied on a workpiece by the powder feed device.
