Abstract

The invention discloses composition for increasing the yield of dry land peanuts and a usage method. The composition comprises straw residues, straw ash and a water-retention material, wherein the mass ratio of the straw residues to the straw ash is in a range of 3:7-7:3, and the mass ratio of a mixture of the straw residues and the straw ash to the water-retention material is in a range of 5:(1-20):1. Biomass power generation waste in the composition has rich nutrient elements, can supplement the peanuts with elements required by growth of the peanuts and can improve acid soil; the water-retention material contained in the composition can prevent drought and water shortage of the peanuts in the growth period. The composition can promote growth of peanut plants, enlargement of root systems, increase of fresh weight of nuts of each single plant after applied to the peanuts, and finally, the yield of the peanuts is increased by more than 13%.
