Embodiment Construction

[0016] Aspects of the disclosure will now be described by way of example and with reference to the above-listed embodiments as illustrated. Components, process steps, and other elements that may be substantially the same in one or more embodiments are identified consistently and described with minimal repetition. It should be noted, however, that coordinately identified elements may also differ to some extent. It should be further noted that the drawings included herein are schematic and generally not drawn to scale. Conversely, the various drawing scales, aspect ratios, and numbers of components shown in the figures may be purposefully distorted to make certain features or relationships easier to see.

[0017] figure 1 is a schematic view of one embodiment of a content management system 10 for receiving raw source content data and processing it into deliverable content data and delivering the deliverable content data to a content delivery server. In one example, content ma...

Abstract

Systems and methods for delivering digital content are provided. In one example, a method may include registering a plurality of content source servers and a plurality of content delivery servers with a content management server. The method may include providing each content source server with a corresponding inbound content adapter configured to generate canonical source data. The method may further comprise, providing each content delivery server with a respective outbound content adapter configured to process canonical source data according to the data contract for said respective content delivery server and generate a content delivery suitable for the association Deliverable content data for the server.

Description

Background technique [0001] Digital content developers and other content sources may generate and / or host digital content, such as games, music, applications, images, etc., and metadata associated with such content. Such a source may publish digital content and associated metadata to various destination systems that require the content, such as game marketplaces, search servers, application marketplaces, and the like. Such a destination system may in turn make the digital content available to end users and other client systems. [0002] Each destination system that receives digital content may only accept content that conforms to that system's particular data structure. Accordingly, to distribute digital content to a destination system, a content source typically transforms its digital content by transforming the content to match the destination system's acceptable data structures. Therefore, in order to distribute its digital content to multiple destination systems each usi...
