Each battery pack comprises at least two battery single bodies. The battery management system comprises a central control unit and electric quantity equalization devices corresponding to each battery pack. The central control unit is connected with each electric quantity equalization device through a first bus. The electric quantity equalization devices are mutually connected through a first inter-group power supply bus and a second inter-group power supply bus. The electric quantity equalization devices are used for carrying out within-group electric quantity equalization on the battery single bodies in the corresponding battery packs respectively and furthermore, carrying out inter-group electric quantity equalization on the different battery packs under the control of the central control unit.
