The invention discloses an input system and its operation method. The input system includes a multifunctional touch pen, a sensing device, a processing device and a display device. The multifunctional stylus is used for generating positioning signals and generating trigger signals when the keys are triggered. The sensing device is used for sensing the positioning signal and the trigger signal, and generates a coordinate signal when sensing the positioning signal. The processing device is used for judging the position of the multi-function touch pen on the sensing device according to the coordinate signal. When the sensing device senses the trigger signal, the processing device generates a frame selection range according to the trigger signal.
