The simulation method comprises the steps as follows: measuring generating efficiency eta1 of the photovoltaic module; enabling the photovoltaic module to be detected to contact with brushing hairs of a rolling brush; rotating the rolling brush to clean the photovoltaic module, wherein the rotating speed of the rolling brush is the rotating speed when the rolling brush is in practical work; the rotating time of the rolling brush T equals to t plus n plus y, wherein t represents the one-time cleaning time while the photovoltaic module is cleaned, and n represents the times of cleaning the photovoltaic module every year, and y represents the using years of the photovoltaic module; measuring the generating efficiency eta2 of the photovoltaic module at this time after the rolling brush rotates for t hours.
