Embodiment Construction

[0049] from figure 1 It can be seen that, in the described exemplary embodiment, the method according to the invention for analyzing events occurring in a system, in particular an electronic system, for example composed of a plurality of system components, has a plurality of steps. The system components of the system communicate with each other internally through a common database. Furthermore, the system components of the system are connected to the system environment of the system via at least one first interface. The system environment of the system can, for example, have a network to which actuators and / or sensors are connected via one or more first interfaces of the system.

[0050] as in accordance with figure 1 As shown in the flow chart of the system, as long as the integrity component of the system recognizes the occurrence of a certain event in the system component, then in step S1, the system component of the system is first isolated from the system environment. ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for analysing events that occur in a system, which consists of system components that communicate with one another internally by means of a common database and are connected to a system environment of the system by means of at least one first interface of the system, said method comprising the following steps: isolation (S1) of a system component of the system from the system environment if an integrity component of the system detects the occurrence of a certain event in the system component; transfer (S2) of the control of the isolated system component to an analysis component of the system by the integrity component, which analysis component establishes a communication connection to an external analysis unit by means of a second interface of the system; and analysis (S3) of the event that occurred in the isolated system component by the external analysis unit on the basis of the component data of the isolated system component that are stored in the common database of the system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method and a device for analyzing events which occur in a system, in particular an electronic system, which is composed of system components which communicate with each other internally via a common database. Background technique [0002] Systems, especially electronic systems, can be composed of a large number of different system components. The system components may comprise hardware components on the one hand and software components on the other hand. Furthermore, a system component may also be a hardware component on which software is implemented. Especially in safety-critical systems, faulty system components are often switched off immediately when an error occurs. Immediate switching off of such system components, however, leads to the loss of data which are necessary for analyzing and defining the cause of the error. If a fault occurs in a safety-critical electronic system, the entire faulty system or at least the r...
