The efficient multi-purpose sewage treatment agent is prepared from the following raw materials: municipal sewage plant active sludge, smectite, pinaceae plant wastes, concentrated sulfuric acid, calcined lime, poly aluminum phosphate and/or poly aluminum sulfate and poly ferric sulfate. The efficient multi-purpose sewage treatment agent is wide in raw material source and low in cost. The efficient multi-purpose sewage treatment agent is prepared by compounding the municipal sewage plant active sludge, the pinaceae plant wastes and the acidified smectite under the action of microwaves to obtain a main raw material and then sequentially mixing the main raw material with the calcined lime, poly aluminum phosphate and/or poly aluminum sulfate and poly ferric sulfate.
