Abstract

The invention discloses a chi-square measure and sensitivity rule based wireless local area network indoor positioning method for positioning indoor personnel / assets in a wireless local area network environment, and belongs to the technical field of wireless communication. The conventional measuring mode of a classic European style distance method in positioning actual application only takes the absolute distance between RSSI vectors of each actual position point into consideration and often ignores the relative distance between the RSSI vectors of each actual position point, and each AP can only be endowed with the same weight. For the purpose of overcoming the defects in the European style distance method, the method brought forward by the invention involves, first of all, establishing fingerprint information of reference points and fingerprint information of test points by use of position fingerprint information, then correcting each weight by use of chi-square measure which better reflects the relative distance between the feature vectors through combination with sensitivity rules, obtaining the contribution of each AP in a current positioning environment in a positioning system and then calculating the position of a point to be positioned according to the fingerprint information of each reference point by use of the chi-square measure after weighing.
