The self-detection system is integrated in a regular circuit of the constant temperature hot wire anemograph (CTA); the CTA regular circuit comprises a Wheatstone bridge, a current limiting protection circuit, an amplifier, an offset signal module and a current driving circuit. The self-detection system comprises a relay module, a current constant module, a hot wire replacement resistor, a first fixed resistor, a second fixed resistor, a third fixed resistor, a control collection module, a display module and a detection switch. The detection switch is used for realizing the switching of the CTA working modes; when the detection switch is switched to a self-detection mode, the following contents can be detected: the fixed resistor value in the bridge path, the hot wire resistance, an overheating rate, an amplifier gain, a current driving circuit working state, and the current limiting protection circuit working state.
