The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a shooting height of an image to be identified, wherein the shooting image comprises elevation-angle shooting and depression-angle shooting; according to the shooting height, determining a perspective mode of a target area in the image to be identified, wherein the perspective mode comprises a foreshortening and a foreshortening-reversing mode, the foreshortening mode refers to longer lower side edge and shorter upper side edge of the target area, and the foreshortening-reversing mode refers to shorter lower side edge and longer upper side edge of the target area; and based on the perspective mode of the target area, determining an actual edge line of the target area from multiple candidate edge lines of each side edge of the target area. According to the invention, the perspective mode of the target area is determined through the shooting height, and accordingly, the actual edge line of the target area is accurately found according to the perspective mode of the target area when edge detection is performed on the target area, such that completeness of electronic-edition information included in the target area is guaranteed.
