Abstract

The invention provides a method and an apparatus for providing a background image of software. The method comprises: when the software is started and the background image of the software is displayed, starting an image shooting device of a terminal device; through the image shooting device, shooting a surrounding environment image of the terminal device; by utilizing the surrounding environment image shot in real time, generating a background image of a current software application in real time; and displaying the background image generated in real time in the current software application as a background of current software.
