Abstract

The invention discloses a display method and an electronic device. The method comprises: receiving and making a response to first operation of a user, and presenting a multi-task interface in a display unit, wherein the multi-task interface comprises at least one application mark, each application mark in the at least one application mark is used for marking and calling a corresponding application, and the applications include a first application; receiving second operation performed on the first application by the user; determining a first display region of the display unit based on the second operation, wherein the first display region is used for presenting a first application interface of the first application; and running the first application and presenting the first application interface in the first display region. The method provided by the invention is used for solving the technical problem of excessively complicated mode of displaying a plurality of applications at the same time in an electronic device due to application startup in the prior art.
