Embodiment Construction

[0028] Hereinafter, a regenerative controller will now be described according to an embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following embodiments are merely examples and are not intended to exclude the application of various modifications and techniques not described in the following embodiments. Various modifications can be made to the configurations of the embodiments and selections, omissions, and combinations can be made within ranges that do not depart from the respective purposes.

[0029] 1. Vehicle

[0030] figure 1 An example of the structure of the powertrain of the vehicle 20 to which the regenerative controller according to this embodiment is applied is illustrated. The vehicle 20 is a series-parallel-combined hybrid vehicle including a drive motor 1 (first motor) and an engine 3 . Both the drive motor 1 and the engine 3 are used as drive sources. An example of the engine 3 is an internal combustion engine such as a gasoline engine or a dies...

Abstract

A vehicle includes a first motor (1), a second motor (2), a battery (5), a decider (11), a first calculator (12), a second calculator (13) and a controller (14). The decider (11) detects a state of the battery (5) and determines whether the detected state is a state where charging the battery (5) is restricted. The first calculator (12) calculates, when the first motor (1) generates the regenerative electric power under the state where charging the battery (5) is restricted, a target energy consumption representing a target value of electric power that the second motor (2) is to consume to drive the engine (3) by using the regenerative electric power. The second calculator (13) calculates an actual energy consumption that the second motor (2) requests to maintain rotating speed of the engine (3). The controller (14) adjusts angular acceleration of the engine (3) and the second motor (2), using a difference between the target energy consumption and the actual energy consumption.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle capable of generating regenerative electric power. Background technique [0002] Every known conventional hybrid vehicle is equipped with an engine and a drive motor, one of which controls reacquisition of regenerative electric power generated by the drive motor into a battery. In this control, the battery is charged with regenerative power while running by inertial force, and the vehicle acquires a stopping force similar to an engine braking force of an engine-mounted vehicle. This control not only helps to improve the fuel and electricity consumption of the hybrid vehicle, but also helps to improve the driver's feeling of the vehicle. [0003] In a state where charging of the battery is limited, regenerative power cannot be recovered. For example, when the battery is fully charged or the battery temperature is extremely low, battery charging is limited or prohibited from the perspective of battery protecti...
