The method comprises the steps in which, a differential packet source server acquires a differential packet from a software development system and synchronizes the differential packet to a differential packet transfer server; the differential packet transfer server synchronizes the differential packet whose directory is to be uploaded to a back-stage management server; the back-stage management server stores the received differential packet to a back-stage database of a cloud system which releases the differential packet stored in the back-stage database to a download server of the cloud system; and a mobile terminal downloads the differential packet from the download server of the cloud system and conducts an upgrade based on the differential packet. The invention can achieve an accurate and efficient upgrade of the mobile terminal.
