Abstract

The design method includes that at first, preset parameters needed by a gradient coil are determined, and a self-shielding gradient coil frame is mapped into a two-dimensional plane structure, particularly, the main coil frame and the shielding coil frame are mapped into two adjacent rectangular planes, the connecting surface between the main coil frame and the shielding coil frame is mapped into a common edge of the two rectangular planes, and then in the two-dimensional plane structure, the stream function base function is constructed and the objective function related to the current density is established, and the two-dimensional plane structure of the gradient coil is obtained by solving the extreme value of the objective function, and at the end, the two-dimensional plane structure is mapped into an actual three-dimensional structure.
