The present disclosure relates to application and information movement in cloud environments. Computer-implemented methods, systems, and computer program products, comprising: observing interactions of a mobile device with a collection of resources, and creating a usage profile for the collection of resources based on the interaction of the mobile device with the resources; Type and frequency are ranked; where the usage profile specifies which resources in the resource collection will be migrated to the new location when the mobile device moves to the new location.
