Abstract

The invention provides a sight line based fiber drawing method. The method comprises: inputting fiber data, collecting the fiber data at intervals to obtain partial fiber data, and performing drawing through the partial fiber data to form an initial fiber; and performing sight line based fiber drawing by utilizing the initial fiber. The invention proposes a sight line based dynamic fiber display method; and a fiber outside current sight line or a blocked fiber is removed and a fiber with a relatively long line-of-sight distance is displayed in a resolution reduction manner to improve the display efficiency. The method is suitable for displaying fibers in any shape such as a linear shape, a tubular shape or an ellipsoidal shape. According to a sight line based dynamic detail level method proposed by the invention, a current frame does not depend on a result of a previous frame and has a relatively fixed frame rate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of medical image processing, in particular to a fiber drawing method based on sight lines. Background technique [0002] Real-time display and interactive manipulation of whole-brain fibers is of great significance for studying brain anatomy and diagnosing white matter lesions. Whole-brain fibers used for visualization are generally composed of millions of points and tens of thousands of lines in three-dimensional space, and it is difficult to obtain real-time display frame rate for directly displaying such large-scale data. [0003] Currently, commercial post-processing workstations do not yet have the capability to display whole-brain fibers. In order to speed up the fiber bundle display algorithm, the existing research mainly improves from the following two aspects: simplifying the three-dimensional geometry (such as a cylinder) into a simple polygon perpendicular to the line of sight direction to reduce the compl...
