The invention discloses a recording and photographing method, device and terminal electronic equipment. The recording and photographing method comprises: detecting a photographing instruction in the recording process; when the photographing instruction is detected, acquiring at least one frame of image of the current scene; and determining a photo of the current scene according to the quality of the at least one frame of image. According to the recording and photographing method, when the photographing instruction sent by a user is detected during recording, at least one frame of image can be photographed for the current scene, and the final image with high quality is determined as a photo according to the quality of the at least one frame of image, so that the problem of poor image quality of photos photographed in the recording process is solved without using two independent recording and photographing modules.
