Abstract

Goat antenatal granular feed and a preparing method thereof are disclosed. The feed is prepared from sorghum flour, watermelon peel, artemisia integrifolia shoots, hairy chestnut cups, pennisetum sinese, tea seed powder, beet pulp, dragon fruit peel, azadirachta indica bark, corn stigma, pumpkin powder and a microecologic preparation according to weight parts. Compared with the prior art, the feed and the method are advantageous in that the feed can enhance body constitution of antenatal goat, is rich in nutrition and can effectively supplement feed needed for an antenatal period, the water content of the feed is about 30%, and the feed is good in palatability, digestible and capable of boosting immunity of ewes and facilitating smooth parturition.
