Abstract

The method includes the following steps that: the router receives the message of a device which has been connected into the local area network of the router, searches a commodity name corresponding a data field in the received message, and sends the searched commodity name to a background advertisement server; the background advertisement server searches an advertisement corresponding to the received commodity name in a preset second corresponding relation between the commodity name and the advertisement, and sends the searched advertisement to the router; and the router sends the received commodity name to the device which has been connected into the local area network of the router. According to the advertisement push method provided by the technical schemes of the invention, advertisement push can be realize through the router, and scripts or codes are not need to be implanted into a terminal, so that the terminal will not be attacked by malicious codes, and therefore, the security of the advertisement push can be improved.
