Embodiment Construction

[0042] exist figure 1 A device with a generator 1 and an active bridge rectifier 2 , on which an embodiment of the invention can be based, is schematically illustrated in FIG.

[0043] Generator 1 includes a stator 11 that is configured in five phases and is designed as a pentagram, and includes a rotor 12 . The individual coils of stator 11 and rotor 12 are not separately identified. The generator 1 is connected to the first DC voltage terminal B via the five phase terminals U to Y respectively via switchable and switchable, controllable flow control valves (designated here with UL to YL and UH to YH) - or on the second DC voltage terminal B+. Subsequently, the method according to the invention is described in terms of the initiation of a phase-to-phase short-circuit in the flow control valves UL to YL of the lower rectifier branch ("low pressure side"), but it is also possible to use the upper rectifier branch ("high pressure side") side") to be executed with the flow con...

Abstract

The invention relates to a generator-operated motor and operation of a device consisting of an active bridge rectifier. In a method for energizing the device, phase terminals of the motor are connected to DC voltage terminals, respectively, by connectable and disconnectable flow control valves. When the output voltage between the DC voltage terminals exceeds an upper threshold value, all first flow control valves are turned on, and only when the output voltage has fallen below the lower threshold thereafter at the time lower than a time point and in addition the phase current flowing through each DC voltage terminal having the corresponding first flow control valve is below a turn-off threshold, each of the first flow control valves is turned off. Whether each first flow control valve has been turned off at least once after the time lower than a time point is inspected after a predetermined inspection period from the time lower than the time point and, if not, a local current minimum value of the respective phase current is detected and the first flow control valve is also turned off at the time point determined based on the current minimum value.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for operating a plant comprising a generator-operated electric machine and an active bridge rectifier and a device for its implementation. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, generators of the claw-pole design with passive bridge rectifiers are used in passenger cars. The power of such a generator is regulated by means of the field field, which on the other hand is regulated by the field current. By regulating the excitation field, the output voltage of the generator can be kept constant independently of the grid load, rotational speed and temperature. [0003] If a "generator" is then briefly referred to, this can also be an electrical machine operable not only as a generator but also as an electric motor (for example a so-called starter generator). The invention is suitable not only for generators of the claw-pole design, but also for all electric machines which are at least capable of generator operation...
