Embodiment Construction

[0022] The public transport vehicle seat consists of a seat 2 rotatably placed on a frame 1 and a rotatably tilted backrest 3 . The seat has a base 4 permanently fixed to the floor 5 . On the base 4 the frame 1 of the seat 2 rests on a horizontal axis 6 perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. For the frame 2, in its front edge, an upper support 8 is mounted on an axle 7, which is connected by an axle 9 to a lower support 11, which rests in an articulated manner on an axle 10 resting on the base 4 superior. The upper support 8 and the lower support 11 on a common shaft 9 are connected to the lower arm 13 of the frame 14 of the backrest 3 via tie rods 12 and articulation joints 16 . The backrest 3 rests on a horizontal axis 15 parallel to the placement axis 6 of the frame 1 of the seat 2 . The shaft 15 rests on an element of the base 4 of the seat.

[0023] The placement axis 6 of the frame 1 of the seat 2 is located at a distance of 0.5 to 0.7 times, advantag...

Abstract

The subject of the invention is a mass transit vehicle chair. The chair has a seat (2) with a seat frame (1) which is rotationally mounted on a horizontal axis (6) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a vehicle on a base (4) which is permanently mounted to a floor (5) of the vehicle and a reclining backrest (3) having a backrest frame (14). The seat frame (1) is having in its front zone on an axis (7) mounted an upper support (8), which is connected by an axis (9) with a lower support (11) placed in an articulated manner on an axis (10) on the base (4), wherein the connecting axis (9) of the upper and lower supports (8, 11) connects to a pull rod (12) for linking with an articulated joint (16) to a lower arm (13) of the backrest frame (14), wherein the backrest frame (14) is rotationally mounted about a horizontal axis (15) being parallel to the axis (6) for rotationally mounting the seat frame (1).

Description

technical field [0001] The subject of the invention is a public transport vehicle seat for use in buses, vans, railway vehicles, aircraft and as a driver's seat of a vehicle, where it is necessary to change the position of the seat and the backrest during direct use by passengers . Background technique [0002] When constructing vehicle seats, it is important to establish a theoretical "H" point for each seat. This is the point approximately at the height of the passenger's hip joint. Parameters of the seat such as the length of the seat, the backrest angle and the anchor point of the seat belt are established in association with this point. This point determines the configuration of the entire seat. For each movement of the "H" point, an independent study of the seat structure should be performed. Incorrectly altered seat parameters about the "H" point can lead to the occupant slipping out of the seat belt during sudden braking with all its adverse consequences. [000...
