The method comprises the following steps of (1) selecting a plurality of data sources; (2) setting an associative relationship among the data sources; (3) setting a self-defined index, wherein the index is a combination of fields and formulae of the data sources; (4) setting a filtering condition of the fields in the data sources, wherein the filtering condition is defined based on the formulae of the index in the step (3); (5) setting a result object required to be output and display, wherein the result object is defined based on the formulae of the index in the step (3); (6) selecting a data source as a combination data source, selecting a combination field corresponding to the result object, forming a combination SQL by the combination data source and the combination field corresponding to the result object, combining an executive SQL with the combination SQL to form a combined SQL; and (7) executing the SQL formed in the step (6) and outputting and displaying an executive result. According to the method, business data of different databases can be combined together for querying a cross-database result.
