The method comprises the steps of acquiring a video resource uploaded by a first user, and determining a first user identifier of the first user; according to an association corresponding relationship, determining a second user identifier which is associated with the first user identifier and points to the first user identifier, wherein an association relationship and a pointing relationship between the first user identifier and the second user identifier are recorded in the association corresponding relationship; and issuing the video resource to a client corresponding to the second user identifier. According to the method, the operation flow of downloading a video by a user is simplified; meanwhile, after receiving the video resource uploaded by the first user, the server can immediately issue the video resource to the second user, so that the second user timely acquires the video resource which the second user is interested in; and video downloading real-time performance is high.
