AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

Quick assembling hot-runner systems involves creation of customized components for each customer's needs. These components have been designed based on their intended use or desired properties beforehand. They may also include other necessary equipment like pipes connected through couplings. Once these structures are complete, they cannot easily be separated from one another without causing damage during transportations due to vibrational issues such as shaking. Overall, there should be minimal materials needed while maintaining efficient operation at high temperatures.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem addressed in this patents relates to the difficulty and complexity associated with producing both integrated and separate type hot runners for use in industrial processes due to their large weight and complex construction required for easy handling and replacement when needed. Current designs require longer processing cycles and higher expenses compared to traditional cold-runner systems. Additionally, existing techniques involve connecting components together via weld connections may cause issues like excessive thermal stress leading to cracks and reduced durability.

Abstract

The invention relates to a rapid-assembled hot runner system and an assembling method thereof. The rapid-assembled hot runner system comprises a main feeding nozzle and hot nozzles. The main feeding nozzle is connected with a main flow distributing pipe which is provided with at least one flow distributing pipe head. Each flow distributing pipe head is connected with the corresponding hot nozzle in a sealed mode through a straight runner pipe and an adapter pipe fitting. Each straight runner pipe is a sectional material, a melt through hole and at least two heat transfer medium through holes are formed in each straight runner pipe in the axis direction of the straight runner pipe in a spaced mode. Melt channels and heat transfer medium channels, corresponding to the melt through holes and the heat transfer medium through holes, are formed in the main flow distributing pipe, the flow distributing pipe heads of the main flow distributing pipe, and the adapter pipe fittings. The main feeding nozzle is provided with a main melt feeding channel communicating with the melt channels, the hot nozzles are provided with melt discharging channels communicating with the melt channels, and the main feeding nozzle and the hot nozzles are each provided with at least one heat transfer medium backflow channel. Each heat transfer medium backflow channel is provided with at least two ports which communicate with the corresponding heat transfer medium through holes. The problems that hot runners are long in machining cycle and difficult to mount and dismount are solved.
