Abstract

The invention discloses a method for prolonging catalyst use period in a hydrocarbon polymerization aromatization technique. The method comprises the following steps: sending a C4 raw material into a polymerization reactor, and reacting under the action of an acidic catalyst to generate aromatic hydrocarbons and liquefied gas. The method is characterized by adding methanol into the polymerization reactor. The modified raw material and methanol are mixed and fed, and the methanol reaction product is weakly acidic, so the neutralization between acid and alkali releases heat. The weak alkalinity of the raw material is neutralized, thereby solving the problem of catalyst poisoning, prolonging the catalyst use period, and saving the operating cost. The methanol reaction generates water vapor, thereby protecting the catalyst activity center, and enhancing the product yield. The modification prolongs the catalyst use period, increases the regeneration rate, avoids catalyst poisoning and inactivatation, and protects the catalyst.
